Dawn Emerson, award winning pastel artist, workshop instructor, and author of “Pastel Innovations”produced these three 1-hour long DVDs earlier in her career after returning from a trip to India in 2009.

Each 60 minute video (No Fear, Camel Trader, and Ghat Women) was professionally filmed and beautifully edited, and will give you insights into how Dawn sketches, designs, and evaluates her work. “No Fear” is more than a title of a painting. Dawn demonstrates a non-precious attitude that can give you incredible freedom in your own work. “Camel Trader” is a portrait demonstration that is full of life and movement that promises to have you dancing at the easel and making confident strokes. “Ghat Women” focuses on assembling multiple figures in a beautiful composition that guides the eye with color, movement, and value.
